Hosting Family

Linards France

We are an English family who moved to France 3 years ago, we live in a large 5 bedroom Maison D'Maitre in the Haute Vienne which we renovated ourselves, my family includes myself and my partner Tim, our 8 year old son and 29 year old nephew, we also have a son and a daughter who will shortly turn 23 whom have decided to remain in the uk for the moment. We have been running a successful bed and breakfast, and prior to that I was an air hostess for a very well known airline, I would now like to welcome people into our home to become a part of our family for longer periods of time in an effort to help them gain the confidence to speak English, as my youngest son has had to learn a second language I can understand just how daunting this can be, and how important it is to build up confidence in a friendly, homely environment. The accommodation offered is a large newly renovated bedroom with an ensuite shower room, we have 1.6 hectares of land that homes our 2 large but very friendly dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, 3 goats and chickens, ducks and geese, We are about 30 mins from Limoges and its Train station with direct links to Paris, and Limoges airport which is about 45 minutes away.
